Reunions - 1924

During the summer of 1924 William and Anna Holmes, whose home is now in California, spent several weeks in Lincoln, Me. Through their desire and effort they were successful in getting together all the then living children of Daniel Holmes, spending a week at the Ballantyne Camp on Mattanawcook Lake, Lincoln. The snap shot attached shows the group.

One day during this time a picnic was held, and all the Holmes connections in the vicinity were invited to be present. At this gathering this Association was brought into being.
