Twenty eight people are listed in the article. Twenty five people are in the photo. I have finally figured out who all the people are, but I don't know who they are in the photo. This seems to be the only reunion my grandparents and great grandparents didn't attend. At least they are not mentioned in the article and I do not see them in the photo. However, there are a lot of people there who attended for the first time, and some of them are YOUR ancestors.
In this photo, which Liz sent me, I see the same elderly lady on the bench in the back row (first photo), second from the right. Could this have been taken at the same time? Or did she wear the same dress two years in a row? Do you recognize and of these folks?
Saw your note on Old Post Road @ the lady in the same dress. It could have been the same weekend. I picture them coming to Lincoln for the whole weekend and staying with Holmes', Ballantynes & Steeves, at a couple of the camps on the lake and at homes in town. So they would likely have also had gatherings at the homes in town--maybe a lunch or a supper and some but probably not all would have participated--thus the different folks in different pictures. Several of the pictures i sent you looked like they were taken at the same time maybe with same camera (i.e. type of picture, size, shading etc). In others you can see some differences i think in the ages of the kids especially.
